Deltarune CH3 & 4 (+5) Predictions (UPDATED)

Ch3:

* Two Rooks (Mike and Tenna, a duo who run the station/dark world)

* Bonus: Mike is the voice of the two, but Tenna is the brains behind the operation.

* Secret Boss: A cowboy from a canceled show. Potentially elements of missing green crayon?

* Bonus: Uses a pan (green soul weapon, in tradition w/ jevilKNIFE (red) and Big SHOT (yellow)) and maybe pans for gold? To make money and strike it rich since his cancelation likely ruined his life.

* Inverse of green's kindness, anger and hatred. (Jevil was hopeless ('undetermined') to continue and gave up. Spamton experienced and doles out injustice, scamming people for no good reason.)

* Somewhat hotland-esque? (If Ch1's DW was New Home (castles and traditional layout) and Ch2's was Core (Cybernetic/electric) it could be going in reverse order)

* Undyne is wrapped up in it (a la Berdly) with Toriel as the party member. Weird route could expand on brief part in UT where Undyne needs water due to metal armor in hotland.

Ch4:

* Dark world in Holiday House. Thus, two Bishops (can involve Alvin in some way as antagonistic?). As for main villain this chapter... unsure! Likely two new original ones.

* Power outage, whether by weather or by Kris, leads Kris & Susie to the dark world with Noelle.

* Despite wintry theme, will have elements of Waterfall. Likely due to an official or sombre atmosphere of the house thanks to Mayor Holiday (and absence of Dess?).

* Secret Boss: Ice-E, maybe related to the pizza box Dess burned in the sweepstakes?

* Bonus: Cyan soul, inverse of patience (anticipation/longing), as if waiting for this moment and obsessing over it with insanity. Incorporates toy knife as weapon, like an ice-pick?

* Bonus: Weird route likely involves Alvin or Mayor Holiday in some way? Details unclear.

Ch5:

* Dragon-Blazers Dark World. A 'dark world within a dark world,' even. Hence, rudimentary, simplistic art style paralleling classic JRPGs (reality becomes more avante-garde the further down you go until complete darkness).

* Skies Forever Blue was actually Dragon Blazers all along! Reveals two 'knights,' the MC from Dragon Blazers likely being the antagonist for the chapter (sees party as 'enemies/invaders of the kingdom'), and Kris (though maybe not said deliberately or at the start).

* Bonus: Revelation of existence of multiple knights/beings who can create dark worlds? Two light knights maybe being Alvis and Dess, and two dark knights being Dragon Blazers MC and Kris' Soul. (Dragon Blazers MC is the other dark knight because they too are a player surrogate character, albeit for their own game. Can add some interesting meta-commentary?).

* Wintery elements paralleling Snowdin, likely leading to the Glacial Palace mentioned in the Spamton Sweepstakes.

* Secret Boss: Dess/Dragon Blazers Princess. Represents inverse integrity - deception, deceit. Likely regarding their true identity? Due to being princess and blue soul, incorporates dancing?

* Bonus: Likely sealed within Glacial Palace, being the chapters' final area (as with all secret bosses). Thus, glitch usage and potential deep-darkness delving?

* Weird route may expose Kris as the Knight, and represent a turning point for the story as a whole with Susie and Kris.

Specter Carlo AU events for Chapters 1-3, these will include minor or major changes, even some things don’t change at all. Carlo’s dialogue for when he’s interacted with or battle specific coments for bosses. Lastly the description for a new cutscene that plays during Chapter 2!

I’m excited to start the next couple chapters, I hope this isn’t too big of a post!

[Character Notes] [Chapters 4&5] [Chapter 6]

Chapter 1

* First time Pinocchio wakes up he is unaware of Carlo’s presence, but Gemini when first picked up while he is rebooting will state that he detects something following Pinocchio.

* Carlo does not make himself known right away, but if you are watching Pinocchio’s reflection in the floor of Krat Grand Central Station you will be able to see inconsistencies in what should be a normal reflection.

These inconstancies will include, but are not limited to:

1. His head turning in the opposite direction.

2. His hip cocking.

3. His legion arm will not jerk or twitch during an animation cycle.

4. Should he be holding a weapon that is long enough to touch the ground, the tip of said weapon will tap against the floor.

5. He will roll his shoulders.

* Hound puppets have a chance to act more iratically since they will be able to sense Carlo’s ghost.

* Since a Specter cannot be summoned during the first boss fight, if the decoder has been acquired from a previous playthrough, the Parade Master will comment on Carlo’s pressence.

These comments are:

1. “A ghost whisperer would make for a stellar performance!”

2. “The King has missed that one greatly.”

3. “Do not be shy, step right up and show yourself!”

* The gate to Hotel Krat will not be able to detect Carlo’s presence, so it will not coment on him.

* Sophia is aware of Carlo, but does not state that she is until Pinocchio is. No other characters at Hotel Krat are aware of Carlo unless he is made permanent.

Chapter 2

* When Gemini finally reboots and Pinocchio is able to talk to him for the first time, he will once again bring up that he feels something strange following Pinocchio. Gemini will state: “I can’t help feel like we’re being watched. You don’t have a ghost following you do you?” Followed by laughter.

* Once the abandoned room stargazer has been reached, a cutscene will trigger, this cut scene would have Pinocchio looking into a cracked mirror on the wall where he will catch his reflection. His reflection will speak to him, claiming to be somebody named Carlo and that he is well aware of who Pinocchio is, but not giving much more info past that.

The dialogue and scene will play out as follows:

Pinocchio will activate the stargazer, once he stands he will hear a tap on glass, causing him to turn and face the direction it came from.

There he will see his reflection, but rather than the neutral expression he has carried up to this point the face staring back at him will be smug.

The reflection will state: “About time you acknowledged me. I’ve been following you since the station, but I’m sure you were too busy to notice. My name is Carlo and I’m well aware of who you are, puppet. I aim to keep you alive and I think that’s all you need to know about me.”

His tone will be cocky, laced with faux kindness. As the cutscene ends the fade in will have Gemini making a comment on the scene.

He will state: “Whoa, you really do have a ghost following you, I was just joking! Do you think we can trust that guy?”

* The Mad Donkey will not have altered dialogue, unless he has a spirit box on him he unfortunately will have no idea that Carlo is there

* Gepetto will also have no altered dialogue

* Carlo will coment on the lady in the window, he will have respond differently depending on what Pinocchio says to her.

* If Pinocchio tells the truth and says that it is a doll, Carlo will say: “That was pretty harsh, don’t you think? Guess I should expect that from an emotionless puppet.”

* If Pinocchio lies and says the baby is cute, Carlo will say: “Hmm. A comforting lie, huh? Interesting, I… didn’t expect that from you.”

* Carlo will finally be able to be summoned for the first time before the Scrapped Watchman boss and will comment when he is. Carlo will state: “Ahhh! About time you got here, I can finally stretch my own limbs again.” (Note that if you are playing on a Specter Carlo game you will have no choice but to summon him as you will be unable to start the next boss fight until you do.)

Should you choose to speak to him before fighting the boss the dialogue options are:

“Why do you look like me?”

Carlo will respond: “Don’t worry about it, that’s just a product of the star fragment.”

Gemini will respond: “That doesn’t sound right…”

Carlo will respond: “Well, believe it cricket because it’s the truth.”

“How long have you been following me?”

Carlo will respond: “Since you woke up. Is that a problem? Honestly if it is I don’t really care.”

“Tell me about this boss.” (Carlo will have multiple responses to this question)

1. “You ever seen a regular cop? One that isn’t a puppet? *under his breath* Of course you haven’t look who I’m asking. *At regular volume again* They all suck, but I can tell you that a normal cop would be a million times better than this one.”

2. “Make sure you have a good blitz resistance, I’m not dragging you out of here if you go into shock.”

3. “Heard this guy used to hang out with the kids around here. I can’t imagine he’s very happy about what’s happened to them.”

4. “For a big guy he’s surprisingly mobile. Watch out for flailing limbs… or don’t. I’m not your dad.”

Battle dialogue for the Scrapped Watchman:

1. “This will be therapeutic, I never liked this thing!”

2. “Nobody needs a watchman this big!”

3. (If Carlo gets picked up) “Shit- wait-!” (When he gets back up) “Ugh, okay that hurt a little bit.”

4. “Ohh, Sparky wants to dance!”

5. “Watch the blitz pulses!”

6. “Hmph. Good riddance. I don’t know what the local kids saw in that thing.”

* If Pinocchio takes the whistle back to the kid in the window, once the kid passes, Carlo’s reflection in a nearby window will coment. He will state: “I hope the kid isn’t in pain anymore.”

* Once back at the hotel Antonia will gift Pinocchio his own room, this room will be equipped with a full length mirror which can be used to talk to Carlo at any time.

* This room will also have a bed, should Pinocchio use it he will have an unlimited stamina effect for the next 5 minutes after leaving the hotel.

* Should you talk to Carlo in the mirror now he will have new dialogue.

The dialogue options are:

“Why are you following me?”

Carlo: “I told you already. I’m trying to keep you alive. If you stop existing, then so do I and honestly? I kind of want to exist.”

“Why would you stop existing if I died?”

Carlo: “Think of me as your other half. We’re twin souls, I’m here because of you. Is that good enough for you? No? Too bad.”

“What are you thinking right now?” (Carlo will have multiple responses to this)

1. “I don’t know why Antonia gave you a room, it isn’t like puppets need to rest. Lucky for you though, now you can bother me whenever you want. Not so lucky for me.”

2. “What makes that Polendina puppet so special? Why isn’t he insane like the rest of them? Whatever, not worth thinking about right now.”

3. “Maybe that Eugénie girl can do something with the part you took off the Watchman. Who knows, it might help keep you, and subsequently me, alive.”

4. “Gepetto sure is… something. That’s for sure. I don’t know what you expect me to say about the old man, honestly.”

5. “Keep an eye on Sophia, will you? She’s too nice to have to deal with all of… this.”

6. “You wouldn’t understand, but I want to pet that cat so bad. Humans and puppets are awful, I much prefer the company of animals.”

Chapter 3

* Carlo will remain silent until inside the factory, he will have something to say just before the crate contains the shielded puppet drops. Shards of broken glass hold Pinocchio’s reflection long enough for him to speak. Carlo will state: “I bet that crate is going to fall and something big is gonna pop out of it.”

* Once the crate hits the ground and causes the room to shake he will coment again. He will state: “What did I say.”

* Carlo will coment on the corrupting pool through the reflection of the sludge connected to the sewer pipe. Stating: “Oh this is gross. Watch your step. If you get corrupted it won’t be good for either of us.” Gemini will also coment with: “Yeah, I’m going to have agree with him on that.”

* Carlo will coment on the Fox and the Cat, stating: “You know those two are messing with you, right? Okay. Just making sure.”

* Venigni is unaware of Carlo, so his dialogue will remain unchanged. When he coments on him Venigni will be unable to hear him. Carlo will say: “Yeah, I know that guy. Him and Gepetto were pretty close. Like… REALLY close, if you ask me. Wonder if they still are.”

Carlo will have new dialogue options before the fight with Fuoco, these options are:

“What do you think of Venigni?”

Carlo: “Decent enough guy. Heard he was pretty fun back in the day, before things got messed up.”

“What about Pulcinella?”

Carlo: “What about him? If you’re asking me if I think he’s still alive, I don’t. If somebody ever asks you to find their loved one you should automatically assume they’re dead already. That way nobody gets their hopes up.”

“Tell me about this boss.” (He will have multiple responses to this.)

1. “Oh good. I walking furnace. Me and heat aren’t exactly friends, so thanks for bringing me here, I really appreciate it.”

2. “Try to get all of the oil stains your clothes out before you fight this thing. I can’t exactly put you out if you get set ablaze, okay?”

3. “This thing has been known to set the floor on fire, try using the pipes around the room for cover.”

4. “Keep in mind that it doesn’t just shoot fire at you, it hits pretty damn hard as well. Try to keep out of it’s way. Unless you like getting smacked around.”

Battle dialogue for Fuoco, King’s Flame:

1. “We just started and I’m already too damn hot!”

2. “Watch it, the floor is lava!”

3. “I’m so lucky I don’t sweat.”

4. “Okay, I know I’m hot, but this is ridiculous!”

5. “Fireballs incoming!”

6. “Good riddance, I don’t know how anything could work along side that thing. And also they won’t be able to make any more puppets and whatever.”

* When you get back to the hotel, Sophia will have have something new to say about Carlo when first speaking to her. She will say: “I’m glad Carlo is able to help you, he seems to be doing a good job watching your back.”

* Carlo will have a few new dialogue when spoken to back in Pinocchio’s bedroom.

These dialogue options are:

“Whatre are you thinking about?” (He will have multiple responses to this.)

1. “Think you can make a flamethrower with that thing? That would be pretty handy, nothing like committing some arson.”

2. “Guess I’m glad his butler wasn’t dead. I meant what I said though, just always assume they’re already dead.”

3. “I used to be able to play the piano. It’s been a while though. Makes me wonder if I still know how to play…”

Jack is only mentioned briefly, and is erased from the story (Due to being retconned) as a character in Chapter 5 and onward.

Summary: Reader is a YouTuber who has lost everything (How and why is up to interpretation). As a result, they have lost their sense of fear entirely, and do not seem to care about consequences anymore.

They spend their days making content mainly focused on "debunking and exposing IRIS", taking advantage of their negative reputation for views.

They've been affected by ALTR 114209 for quite some time now, but they seem to be holding up just fine...

After forming a sort of "bond" with ALTR 114209 itself, the entity trusts them enough to get a bit more personal with them.

A lot of things are based off personal headcanons and my own interpretation of these characters! Please keep that in mind. I apologize in advance for any errors! Please let me know if there are any so I can fix them.

You were not meant to be alive today- Not according to whatever the hell IRIS was saying, at least. “Overexposure to "ALTR 114209" not only puts you in danger, but also those around you”, they said. But you paid it no mind.

You didn't have anything, or anyone, so you didn't bother taking any precautions.

Maybe that sounded pessimistic to anyone who didn't actually know you, but you didn't see it that way. It was something you had accepted long ago.

A lonely life was what you lived, but it was more fulfilling than being surrounded by people who only held you back, who betrayed you, who left you behind.

As of now, you didn't really care about your fate.

You lived your life peacefully, content with whatever route it took. If something "bad" happened, you just rolled with it, and in return, nothing seemed to ever bother you.

Worrying about the outcomes, the consequences of your actions, the future- It was just another headache to you.

That made it- Him, curious.

And just like that, you became a target to him.

"Him", who you only called as such due to his appearance. Clearly, he was no ordinary human- He wasn't human at all.

He was able to warp reality itself to his will, and you figured that to him, this world was nothing more than a game. A game of puppets, in which he was the puppet master.

Still, you saw some resemblance- Signs of humanity within him. Or maybe, you saw yourself in him.

...That probably said more about you than about him, actually. Yeah, you should probably be concerned about that.

Still, he has been around you for so long now, and you didn't even know if he had a proper name yet.

He treated you like all the other ones at first- Just another toy made to entertain him after he broke his last one. That's what you assumed, anyway.

But you didn't react- Not in the way he wanted you to.

The whispers, the images he flashed in your eyes- They didn't get you like he had hoped.

You had seen them time and time again, but they only seemed to slightly inconvenienced you when you were trying to do your everyday tasks...

To you, he came off as desperate. To him, you were infuriating.

He seemed willing to go to every length to be satisfied, to finally get the reaction he wanted out of you, and you knew that. So you took it as a personal goal to not give him that.

You were thankful to not have a job that required you to actually leave your home, otherwise, the task of having to constantly explain your situation to everyone you come across would get annoying.

You figured that those living near you were most likely affected by ALTR 114209 too, but you honestly couldn't care less.

You didn't know them, and they didn't know you. It's their problem, not yours- You've stopped feeling remorse over your "selfish decisions" and thinking. Maybe that was why you were truly free.

The more you talked to him, the closer the two of you seemed to become.

That didn't mean it didn't take any effort, though. It took you many, many tries to finally get him to even respond to you.

After hearing him whisper unimportant nonsense in your ears and catching glimpses of him at the corner of your eyes for so long, you decided to try to approach him.

And you did, in hopes of getting something in return.

At first, he would stand completely still, unmoving until he faded into obscurity.

After that, he would only eye you up and down, then tilt his head to the side, almost out of intrigue.

And after that, he would only smile.

chapter 3

That was not the only acknowledgment he gave you that night.

Days of hate and yearning; love and lust came over him after that sentence, and he found his way to your room again, well past midnight. You were brushing your hair with an absentminded frown littering your pretty face, but the moment you saw him enter, it transformed into the loveliest smile he’s ever seen, then quickly disappeared for a variety of reasons. Fuck, he hated to see it fade away, see you abandoning out of your chair yet standing next to it, not reaching out to him like you always do. A little afraid, a little too angry to do so… You were the more contained one of the two of you, as always, yet he always had the ability to see those emotions behind bars, and held the spare keys.

“My Lord.” Your voice couldn’t contain the excitation of having him in your chambers, though. “Can I help you in any way?”

“Yes, yes you can.”

And he was grabbing you, stealing a deep, dirty kiss.

For a second, your shocked whimper which was successfully muffled by his lips was your sole reaction, but then the wanting overcame you- your hands cupping his face, raising on your tiptoes to be closer, trying to keep up with this strange rhythm. Thus, when the two of you eventually parted, you didn’t push him, or take a step back. You stood there with your mouth agape, trembling with each shallow breath, and that glimmer in your eyes telling a different story than just a stupor. Your cheeks reddened under his piercing stare, but you still didn’t want to let him go, clutching to his shoulders.

“You liked it, didn’t you?” The scorn was obvious. Did other men treat you like this too? Did you let them?

“I-“ You stuttered, not able to find the right words, not able to utter them out of shyness.

“You little whore.”

You flinched and shrieked, taken aback by the insult. How could he ever use that word against you?

Are they warging into seals? Are they just a little bit like Shetlanders? Also it's kind of basic bitch of me, but House Dayne, they're very bloody sexy but I just want to see their real depth. (Also were House Poole once Crannogmen, their name kind of fits?) 5. Dead female character I need to save: Kyra. Obviously. Also I really should save Elia because personal affinity reasons. And then I think I'd have to save Lyanna too (I have written a POV of an older, saved, her, thanks to Eva being galaxy brained, and oh it was so interesting). Also Dacey so I can marry her please. Plus let's save all the live women, Jeyne P. and Jeyne W. and Pia especially. 6. A book or character you didn't like at first but have come to love - had a difficult initial relationship with feast and at first I found Brienne's chapters tricky but I came to really enjoy them. (I love her and I love wee Pod). And I didn't dislike Arya at first, but I was a bit bored by her, she just seemed quite like all those tomboy preteens I'd read as kid, Scout and Lyra and Tyke Tiler (British 70s children's novel that was still the kind of thing forced upon you in English in 90s Britain). But actually once she gets to Braavos, I'm much more enthralled and the Mercy chapter, oh, it floors me. 9. Build your small council - Tyrion, Gilly, Missandei (even though she's 11), in fact let's go Shireen too, and Wex (master of whisperers), and then before Tyrion kills me for making it a model UN class project, Barbrey, Arianna, Davos, and one of Asha's ratboys to be master of ships (She's busy ruling the Iron Island in my head). 10. A quote so good it makes you crazy -  Tyrion ruminating on the inevitability of history (and it feels like nature and nurture too, how generational trauma gets woven into us); It all goes back and back, Tyrion thought, to our mothers and fathers and theirs before them. We are puppets dancing on the strings of those who came before us, and one day our own children will take up our strings and dance on in our steads. Theon arguing vociferously that trauma does not need to be physical; The noose I wore was not made of hempen rope, that's true enough, but I felt it all the same. And it chafed, Ser Rodrik. All the dub-con, non-con that gets sexy, I'm just there scrunching my nose, wondering if there's something GRRM needs to properly address with his therapist rather than continually writing into asoiaf. Garmadon asked himself, looking around to see if the figure is somewhere else here, but he didn't. "Hmm-" he picked his sword back up and put it in its holster, then continued through the woods. The first Spinjitzu Master continues to stare down at his son, awaiting for an answer from him. "Well-?" He raised a brow, and his hands are behind his back. "I- we didn't mean to, Father! We were just trying to help others. you taught us that sometimes you need to put aside your own needs for the greater good." Wu finally replied. Nervous, but he knew he had to answer otherwise their father would be even more mad. "Your brother is changing, and you seek to help others more than him?" The first Spinjitzu Master asked. "No! They just needed help, father! We couldn't just sit their and let the jewel be taken or let innocent people be turned to puppets or trapped in pyramids and paintings!" Wu cried back. "I sent you to retrieve the tea leafs. and that is all." The first Spinjitzu Master said. "Well, once I find Garmadon, we will continue to the northern ocean!" Wu replied. "No." The First Spinjitzu Master called out, Walking closer to Wu. "You already had your chance. and you failed." Wu backed up a bit. "I will get the tea leaf and you boys will head back home" the First Spinjitzu Master said. Walking past Wu, but then he got stopped before he could go any farther. "No." Wu said. "What?" His father stopped and sounded unhappy when he heard that. "What do you mean 'no''?" He asked. "Garmadon and I will get it." Wu said. Holding onto his staff tightly. "You seek to disobey me more?!" The first Spinjitzu Master yelled. Sounding even more unpleased and he refused to face towards Wu. "No, I don't. I will not disobey father more- but you're not him." Wu said. Not afraid of saying that even though it possibly could've been their father, but he, knew it wasn't. "I realized something about this forest, that their is a way to tell illusions apart from the real thing. The footsteps I saw earlier weren't really there they were illusions! It looked like they were actually there, but it was fake the footsteps had no detail to it- it was blank. like it was just a perfect indent in the ground. And you, you look just like father, accept.....I can't see your face. It's blank, just like the footsteps. You're an illusion!" Wu said.

Story - summarized

You enter an old museum and find an exhibit about Queen Lilith. One of the mannequins in the room holds a violin, which begins talking to you.

It belonged to Nolan, a young prodigy who mastered music at the age of 12. Despite his grand talent, he kept looking for a deeper meaning to life. He would play in the open fields just outside his town.

Queen Lilith happened to be walking by one day. She loved his music and wanted him to play for her forever. Nolan was struck by his beauty, and he fell hopelessly in love with her. He returned to the palace with her, comparing her to roses and moonlight.

But the queen was so busy all the time that she rarely saw him again. Nolan became depressed, obsessed with seeing Lilith again and playing for her. So, he stationed himself just outside her bedroom window and played every night. He began starving and wasting away, trying to hang onto that one, pure, romantic moment with Lilith. Finally, she did come to visit - he died immediately.

The violin explained that the boy's likeness was preserved in a mannequin, and that was the only way for Lilith to hold onto that "love." But now, the violin, the mannequin, and the music all have faded into time. The museum is abandoned.

Connections

-In the Christmas event Puppet Encounter, Lilibet knows that the queen loves music, so she tricks the musical toy into giving him her violin.

-The violin mentioned that the Nolan mannequin looked like a demon had taken the boy's talent and likeness and put it into a doll. By this point, Nightbane and Lilith were already working together, as shown in Voice of Desire.

-We are introduced to this Reflection by going to the National Museum of Lilith Kingdom. In Love Nikki, Ninir's name changed to Lilith, in honor of the most beautiful queen.

-Even though the violin thought it was a demonic force, it was actually a doll-maker that crafted the mannequins. In the Index, under the Profile section, the last info box explains that the doll-maker was summoned right away and built the dolls.

2) “Meanwhile, let’s see Hadou and Ida rushing towards the epicenter of death, even though Ida very clearly was not invited for the party. Look man, if you get turned into dust I’m blaming it solely on you.”- He’s arguably the best one for swiftly transforming the injured out of the danger Zone, whilst Izuku and the rest work to keep Tomura from widening that Danger zone even more.

3) “Yeah but considering the main one is midoriya and the lesson he always gives is “destroy yourself to save others” I have a feeling this won’t end that well for you.”- Iida unintentionally throwing Bakugo under the bus, though I suppose you could say Bakugo teaches others what to do by demonstrating the opposite response to social niceties.

Miss Uzumaki and dash-dabbing are here to save the day and hopefully not join the row of graves right out of view”-Honestly, getting some fresh meat in the grinder here gives Izuku and the rest some breathing room before they join in, and they all need that. Tomura doesn’t give a crap about down-time, but the heroes need to be prioritising their health and wellbeing for the sake of the endangered civilians they’ve gotta rescue in the aftermath of all this.

SEEMS LIKE HE MANAGED TO GET CONTROL FOR A FEW INSTANTS, WHICH MEANS WE’RE ABOUT TO GO FOR ROUND TWO UNTIL SHIGARAKI TAKE THE WHEEL AGAIN”- It’s honestly really hard to tell who’s in the driver’s seat, but in general, whenever “Tomura” starts getting mean and disparaging towards his enemies, that’s the cue that AFO’s in command 10) “Uraraka is an expert in hand-to-hand combat, but Toga is a master of dodging, which means this is gonna take a while, at least until Machia run them over. I’m surprised Uraraka even managed to tap her clothes like that.”- If not for last chapter’s extra segment, I’d have almostthough Toga put in the time to get clothes on so Uraraka couldn’t float her easily, almost like a shield. Instead, I now know it’s because the PR department didn’t want a mostly-naked girl fight and the bad press that’d have brung. 11) “oh my god is toga baring her soul and trying to explain to Uraraka why she acts the way she does? What she thinks, what she feels, but Uraraka here is more concerned with taking her down for the safety of all?Horikoshi, what have I done to be hurt like this?”- It’s honestly not that different from Curious’ own “interview” with her, with one side given their opinion of Toga’s actions and her perception amidst the public, whilst the other furiously brushes off what they’re saying on the surface in favour of fighting them. The difference is, Last time it was Toga who was focusing on the fight, due to her dislike of Curious and her giving a biased viewpoint of her actions with a political intent to spin them to further the MLA’s cause, whereas this time, she’s the one genuinely expressing herself in private to somebody she likes, and that person isn’t getting the hint.

In the mistfit AU during the chapter 4 remake when the NDA go to save Yuma will Makoto be a help or a hindrance. because he’s mad at them for allowing Yuma to get captured and becomes like Shinigami not trusting anyone but himself to protect his original.

On the topic will there be some resistance from Yuma himself during the rescue or will he be to injured to resist from Yomi and homonculus expirements

Oooh, these are great questions to think on! I’m gonna ramble my thoughts on those. (This took longer than I thought, I am so sorry, but I finally got it: prepare for an onslaught of your asks finally being answered—for the Misfit AU).

I would say yes, he would be antagonistic and a hindrance even to the Nocturnal Detective Agency because they did played a role in getting Yuma captured, not trusting them like Shinigami. However, it also goes a little deeper than that. In the Second Act, Makoto has been acting sort of against the Detectives, out of a mix of jealousy that they are so close to Yuma while their relationship fades away, and being a puppet master to guide the Nocturnal Detective Agency to take out Yomi for him. But in this AU, he is also aiming to keep Yuma safe from the war because he does not want him to get dragged back into his past trauma. Unfortunately, Yuma ends up getting dragged into the conspiracy either way, and the Detectives had a hand in it (and I don’t just mean Vivia, the others may have had a hand in it as well, especially Yakou). He decides to not only prevent the Detectives from reaching where Yuma in, but tries to save Yuma himself.

(Also to note: this is not actually a chapter 4 remake, but rather a chapter 5 remake with little bits of elements from chapter 4–basically taking place in a lab of sorts as well, but more so the Outskirts).

As for Yuma, he would be hesitant to go with the Detectives, not because of their actions having an effect on him, but because of his own actions and being the Death Detective in general. He would be trying to escape though because when he turned himself in, he thought he was going to be sent to prison which he would have stayed put. Instead, he is in a lab being experimented on like a lab rat for the Homunculus experiment. He did not sign up for that! He goes with Makoto as he is willing to help him escape and leave Kanai Ward altogether. However, Shinigami, having grown to care and trust the Nocturnal Detective Agency, tries to break Yuma out of his depressive mindset he is in. The conflicting feelings would divide Yuma, leading to an emotional turnabout as the truth about Makoto, the war, and the experiment he has been subjected to is finally brought to light.

Oh, and he would be injured too, but Makoto tends to him (and later the Detectives as well).

I made a Reading List for the Sailor Moon Manga Canon

I composed this reading list for the entire manga, Sailor Moon, Sailor V and the side stories too.

  I admit I haven’t ‘road tested’ this list so if anyone tries it out (or even just looks over the below) and has any advice to improve it I am very open to taking suggestions.

The names of the chapters are in reference to the Eternal Editions which I used as the ‘skeleton’ for this list. My aim was to include everything in such a way that did not give away spoilers and retained as much drama and narrative flow as possible. My thinking was, how would I recommend the series to a first time reader who wants to experience everything at once.

  To this end I opted to avoid disrupting the Sailor Moon story arcs and slot everything else in between them. In general I tried to slot everything in as close to when they chronologically take place as possible, so if a side story takes place during an arc I’ve placed it immediately after that arc for example. The downside of this is that the narrative flow gets interrupted whenever an arc ends in a cliffhanger that gets picked up at the beginning of the next arc.

  My internal rationale for this is that the arcs are akin to a season of television, wherein you inevitably get breaks in between anyway. So the side stories are a chance to decompress after the climactic events of one arc and before we begin a new one. If you are a Marvel fan, it is a little like getting two more relaxed Marvel movies immediately after Avengers: Infinity War’s cliffhanger and before Avengers: Endgame picks up after said cliffhanger.

  With all that out the way, here is my proposed reading order:
